The tree is best planted in a sunny position, sheltered from wind. The plant prefers sandy loam soil, which is moderately moist and fertile. The optimal pH is in the range of 6,7-7,2.In order to stimulate the tree to fruit abundantly in the first year, immediately after planting, perform formative pruning. Shoots can easily be trimmed to approx 1/3 of their length. When planting place in a hole, then fill in with fertile soil, compacted around the trunk. After planting the plants should be watered well.
