This cranberry is best planted in a sunny position. It grows well in moist, peat type soil. The optimum pH is in the range 3.0-4.0.After planting, cover the ground at the base of the plant with bark and sawdust. The soil should be kept moist. In the spring, it is recommended to use fertilizer that will make the soil slightly acidic. Every 2-3 years, in the spring, shorten the longest horizontal stems to equal lengths, without damaging the vertically growing shorter shoots.
