DESCRIPTION

Andenken An Ludwig Spaeth is one of the most rewarding lilac varieties. The bush can reach up to 4 m of height, while the yearly growth can reach approximately 20 cm. Its upright branches are covered with wonderful cordate glossy dark green leaves. The leaves remain on the branches until late autumn.

ADVICES

Blossom appears in May. The flowers are approx. 2 cm large, lilac to mauve in colour, producing a strong and pleasant smell. They are arranged in long (up to 30 cm), dense conical bunches. The lilacs can be planted individually or in groups (excellent as a separate hedge). Can also be used as decorative cut flowers.
