Osier - this is a proudly growing shrub, with long branches that grow from a short trunk. The branches are yellow, thin and slender. The young shoots have silvery hair. The leaves of this willow are very narrow and long. On the upper side they are dark green and wrinkled, with a yellow vein in the middle, and underneath they are covered in silky hair. In spring the plant is covered in cylindrical catkins.
This willow grows best in full sun and partial shade. It grows in any type of soil that is moist.
In the case of drought, additional watering is required. It is perfectly suited for pruning. After planting, it is necessary to compact the ground around the seedling, and water well.
