DESCRIPTION

Wild privet - this is a bushy shrub that grows to 2-3 m in height. It has narrowly ovate, green leaves that fall in winter. Its flowers are small, white, gathered in dense elongated clusters. Over time, very decorative fruits appear - round, black, poisonous berries. The privet is planted mostly in the form of a hedge.

This privet grows best in full sun. It prefers fertile soil that is well-drained, and moderately moist.
