DESCRIPTIONWild privet - this is a bushy shrub that grows to 2-3 m in height. It has narrowly ovate, green leaves that fall in winter. Its flowers are small, white, gathered in dense elongated clusters. Over time, very decorative fruits appear - round, black, poisonous berries. The privet is planted mostly in the form of a hedge.
ADVICESThis privet grows best in full sun. It prefers fertile soil that is well-drained, and moderately moist.
Before planting dig the soil well. After planting, the ground should be well compacted around the seedling and watered well. It should be planted in autumn or early spring. This privet tolerates pruning well and is resistant to frost, drought and air pollution.
