DESCRIPTION
Regina - this is a great variety, not without reason called the "The Queen of the Cherries". Produces large or very large fruit, which are dark red, beautifully shiny, with flesh that is slightly crunchy, sweet, and above all delicious. Without a doubt, having a Regina cherry would make any gardener proud!ADVICES
The tree is best planted in a sunny, slightly airy position. It prefers a sandy/clay soil which is moderately moist, and fertile. The optimum pH is in the range of 6.5-7.0.To stimulate future growth the tree should be pruned in the first year immediately after planting. Formative pruning should be executed on the main stem, 20 cm above where the planned future branches will grow. The other branches should also be cut, reducing their length by one third. The best time to prune the cherry tree is annually in the spring. The variety is resistant to diseases. Regina pollination requires the presence of other varieties flowering at the same time. Best results can be achieved by planting with varieties Schneidera Późna, Sylvia, Karina, Kordia, Sam, Hedelfińska.
