DESCRIPTION
Van Houtte - this is a spreading, dense shrub with drooping stems. It grows up to 2.5 meters in height and width. The leaves are ovate and dark green. In autumn they turn to an orangey-yellow. The biggest attraction, are the flowers that bloom between late May and early June. They are white, and gathered in lush hemispherical clusters.ADVICES
This plant is best planted in a sunny position, and the prefers fertile soil that is lightly moist.To stimulate plant growth and thicken the branches, in early spring shorten the shoots to 25-30 cm above ground level, and also remove the diseased parts of the plant. Every few years get rid of the old branches. For the winter cut the withered stalks. Every so often aerate the soil around the plant, and for best results add compost or fertilizer.
