DESCRIPTION
Aronia - this shrub fruits very abundantly, and it reaches a maximum of 1.5 meters in height. In the spring it is covered in countless petit, pretty flowers. The fruit ripens in late summer, when the shrub becomes heavy with fruit.ADVICES
This shrub is best planted in a sunny position. The plant prefers fertile soil that is free draining and moderately moist, with an optimum pH in the range of 6.0-7.0.The aronia tolerates pruning in both spring and summer. After planting, you should remove the twisted and creeping shoots. The other shoots should be reduced to 2-3 bud eyes above the ground. In subsequent years remove damaged, crooked, or creeping shoots. Older plants require thinning out - annually remove some of the thickest, oldest stems to avoid density in the bush.
