DESCRIPTION
Mathilde- this is a firmly upright growing shrub, which grows up to 1.5 m in height. The hibiscus leaves are dark green, ovate, with serrated edges, which in autumn become yellow. The biggest attraction is the extremely showy flowers - white/pink with a darker centre. This variety is recommended for planting singly or in groups.ADVICES
The shrub is best positioned in a sunny spot, sheltered from wind. The plant prefers a fertile humus soil that is free-draining, slightly acidic, or alkaline. Take care that there is enough humidity. When the plant begins to bud, it should be helped along with fertilizer, intended for flowering plants. It is necessary to wrap hibiscus with hay or twigs from coniferous trees for the winter. In the spring the young shoots should be pruned to stimulate plant growth. Also remove damaged and frostbitten parts. The plant should be watered regularly.
