Chinese Willow this is an extremely impressive decorative tree, grafted on an elongated rootstock that has very twisted shoots. The leaves are light green and are also twisted. In the spring it is covered in attractive, light green catkins. Beautifully presented near to a pond where the branches hang over the water. Easy to grow, but a lot of water and light is essential for lush growth. Prefers fertile soil. It is very resistant to air pollution, grows well in industrial areas and cities.Strong spring pruning carried out immediately after blooming will rejuvenate the plant. Due to this process many long shoots will appear soon after, and it will bloom profusely the following spring. The willow should be regularly watered as it is sensitive to drought. Resistant to frost, does not require winter protection.
