DESCRIPTION
Diana is a variety of Syrian ketmia with graceful, snow-white flowers. It is a shrub with an erect growth habit. It grows quickly, reaching up to 2.5 meters in height. The leaves appear in the late spring. They are three-pointed, serrated on the edges, and in dark green color. In autumn, the leaves become intensely yellow. Diana flowers from June until late autumn. The flowers are very impressive - large and wide, with subtle, pure white petals. Unlike other varieties of Syrian ketmia, Diana's flowers remain open during the night.
ADVICES
The plant grows best when planted in a sunny place, sheltered from the wind. Syrian ketmia requires a fertile, permeable, and slightly acidic substrate. The best is sandy soil enriched with compost.
Syrian ketmia requires a constantly moist soil, which is why regular watering is necessary during periods of drought. Fertilize the plant with multi-component fertilizers for ornamental shrubs. Trimming is not required but may contribute to the abundance of flowering shrub. Trimming should be carried out in spring. We make it above the buds turned outside.
