DESCRIPTION
Flamingo - this is an extremely showy plant with white-pink-green leaves, the most beautiful being the ones on the young shoots. During the leafless stage, the plant also looks impressive - where the shoots take on a red colour. In the spring, the tree is covered in countless spectacular catkins. The willow has a spherical form. Suitable for small gardens, and even on patios.ADVICES
The tree is best planted in a sunny position, sheltered from wind. It grows well in all types of garden soil. Keep in mind that the soil should be constantly moist. In the first year the shoots should be pruned very vigorously at the length of about 20 cm, or a few eye-buds, and the subsequent cuts depend on how big you would like the crown to be. Main pruning should be done in spring, immediately after flowering, before the leaves appear. At the same time, it should not be later than the end of July. The Flamingo likes frequent pruning, so that there are more and more new decorative stems, and the crown is denser. In harsh winters you must protect the shoots as they are prone to frost. The tree should be watered frequently.
