DESCRIPTION

Red Faworytka - is a red sport variety of Faworytka, which grows strongly and bears fruit every year, usually very abundantly. The fruits are large or very large, wide-ovular and symmetrical. The red skin is thick and slightly shiny. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, fine-grained, buttery, and above all very tasty.

ADVICES

The tree is best planted in a sunny position, sheltered from the wind. To cultivate, the tree prefers humus-clay soil which is moderately moist. The optimum pH range is 6,2-6,7.

To stimulate future growth the tree should be pruned in the first year immediately after planting. Formative pruning should be executed on the main stem 20 cm above where the planned future branches will grow. The other branches should also be cut, reducing their length by one third. The best time to prune the pear tree is annually in the spring. Red Faworytka pollination requires the presence of other varieties flowering at the same time. Best results can be achieved by planting with varieties Bonkreta Williamsa, Komisówka, Bera Hardy, Konferencja, Paryżanka, Trewinka.
