DESCRIPTION
Cornelian cherry Trio is a composition of three decorative shrubs, characterised by intensive colours of shoots. Intensive red, yellow and black shoots form a phenomenal composition that especially in winter, in contrast with snowy scenery, introduces a fairytale atmosphere to the garden. The composition includes a unique black bark cornelian cherry, that changes its colour from slightly purple to intensive black as it grows. It is a perfect decoration of the garden throughout the year. In spring, the plant covers with tiny green leaves, which gives it a really impressive appearance. Blooming starts in May. The shrub covers with plenty of cream-yellow and white flowers gathered in small blossoms.
ADVICES
This shrub is best planted in a warm and sunny position. The ideal soil should be fertile, rich in humus, and relatively moist.This Dogwood should be cut in early spring. Half of the oldest shoots should be cut about 10 cm above the ground, the rest of the shoots should be cut to a desired height. Also remove stems that are diseased, broken, crossing or too dense. Leave the previous year's long shoots that are the most intensely coloured.
