DESCRIPTION
'Pink surprise' Japanese azalea is a beautiful bush that should find its place in every garden in Japanese style. It is a wide-spreading bush with plenty of tiny bell-shaped, light-pink flowers. Flowering is extremely prolific, with bunches of 5 to 10 flowers, covering the entire plant. Blooming starts at the end of April and in May. Dark-green and shiny leaves.ADVICES
The bush should be planted in a shiny location, but cannot be exposed to direct sunlight. Acidic and well-drained soil is preferred. pH should be 4.5 to 5.5.Japanese azaleas require moderate watering. It is best to do it in the morning or in the evening. Break off dead flowers to stimulate blooming in the following year. Soil can be mulched with 3 to 5 cm of composted pine bark. In winter, cover the plant with conifer branches or nonwoven fabric to protect it against frost.
