DESCRIPTION

Speciosus is a very beautiful variety of rose mallow. The bush can reach up to 1.5 m and has the shape of inverted pyramid. The leaves appear at the end of spring and are dark-green. The foliage turns yellow in autumn. The plant provides prolific flowering from June until August. The Speciosus variety flowers are large and full, snow-white with purple throats. The plant is recommended for backyard gardens and parks.

The plant is best planted in a sunny position, sheltered from wind. This rose requires fertile and free draining soil, ideally sandy and enriched with compost.

This rose does not require pruning, but formative or rejuvenating pruning could be carried out in late March or the beginning of April. Make the cuts above the outside facing buds.
